Lovely story though, nice characeterisation of both of them and great Grodin voice, I like how self-confident he was.
Liked the fact that Bates wasn't feeling bad for losing Markham and Smith as for making Beckett go up in a jumper too, that seemed very appropriate for him. Sigh, poor Markham too.
