Countdown to Bermuda

In two and a half days, I will be in Bermuda. Let there be much rejoicing.

I really, really need this vacation. Particularly after another day dealing with idiots at work. I mean, I only have to get through two days this week. Two days. How hard could it be? Well, when dealing with contractors who have their own heads so far up their asses that they have to drill through their belly buttons to see daylight ... it's hard. *sigh*

On the upside ... Bermuda. Now, if I could only finish the thousand and one things I have to finish before I leave, everything will be just fine.

I'm bringing the laptop with me (I do believe I'd go into withdrawal if I didn't) so you'll likely hear from me before I get back. Did I mention that damn Stabler story is due Christmas Eve? *eg*

Nothing like a little pressure to get those Muses going. I'll be available for beta-ing through Thursday - leave the house at 3:45AM or so Saturday, so that pretty well shoots the heck out of Friday night. So if you can get Stabler done by then - I'll be here.

Then I have 5 computer-free days at my parents'. They have internet, but I think they're running it on a 12k modem because it's mind-numbingly slow. And downloading slash at the folks' might not be the best of ideas.

I'll be back late on the 27th for Magi (and I may send mine to you around then).
